Resdents of Dayate hold peaceful demonstrations to protest developments in the area.

Description

Residents of Dayate have organized a peaceful Demonstration in protest of Dayate incursion by the County Government. They were joined by others from Delta and Bura who were unhappy with the manner the County is handling the land issue.

The Orma of the Dayate are the most affected siting that their land is being grabbed by the county government in the name of development. They have opposed the projects and have even filed a petition in the High Court. They have faulted the County Government of allegedly resorting to unorthodox ways of dividing people to proceed with the projects.
