RESOURCE BASED CONFLICTS IN TAITA TAVETA ON THE RISE

Description

The movement of livestock from other counties to Taita Taveta has caused huge losses to farming communities due to uncontrolled grazing. The locals are up in arms against the pastoralists and tension is on the rise including in social media. The government administrators have been involved, communities advised to use alternatives to violence to deal with the issue.
