Suspected Wakali Kwanza gang attacks Bamburi area robbing residents.

Description

At least seven people were reported to having been injured last night when a gang suspected to be the Wakali Kwanza group attacked residents of Bamburi area. According to verified reports, the gang that was armed with crude weapons such as knives and machettes indiscriminately attacked locals within the vicinity of the the Naivas Supermarket in Bamburi area at around 2000Hrs robbing them of valuables. Police attached to the Mwatamba station acted swiftly with the help of bodaboda operators to repel the group and two suspects were arrested. A manhunt for the other gang members is still underway.
