5 GANG MEMBERS GUNNED DOWN IN SATURDAY MORNING OPERATION.

Description

A special unit of heavily armed security officers from RECCE SQUAD, conducted a raid in Mbungoni area in Bombolulu , Mombasa County. The dawn ambush targeted a gang of 5 suspected criminals that have been operating in the region. The elites squad rounded their house in a surprised attack that left all the five suspects dead. One of the officers was injured in the shoot out that lasted for about 10minutes, and the police recovered an AK-47 gun and 32 rounds of ammunitions among other dangerous weapons. The gang has been operating the River Trinity Miracle Church, and its through the Community Policing Strategy that the police got wind of their whereabouts.
