Mosque in Nyali demolished over land and political tussle

Description

Residents are living in fear following the demolition of unfinished mosque in Mwembelegeza, Nyali constituency. There is tension between officers from Mwatamba Police Station and locals over the use and ownership of a piece of land. The land was under a construction of a modern mosque and madrassa in the area. The situation is alleged to worsen after backing from political leaders in the County.
