Concerns raised as number of youth visit public beaches rises amidst increased teenage pregnancies.

Description

There is an increased number of youth visiting the public beaches in the early morning hours (5a.m - 9a.m) for physical practice. Although no instances of insecurity has been raised , the practice is raising concern among security stakeholders in the county.With swelling numbers of teenage pregnancies countrywide, many peace stakeholders have blamed the morning practice sessions as the reasons behind the teenage pregnancies. There is minimal regard during these training sessions for the government's directives to prevent the spread of COVID 19 thus there is a need to enhance security intelligence to prevent any form of insecurity
