Increased community concern over government directive to arrest people for not wearing face mask amidst insufficient number of Personal Preventive Equipment for COVID-19

Residents of Mtopanga area in Kisauni have complained of the government's directive to arrest people found in public places without face masks. They have complained that the government has not done enough to ensure the masks are made available to vulnerable communities and yet a law is being enforced to arrest such people.
The residents are also complaining of an influx of sub standard face masks within Kisauni that are being sold to unsuspecting buyers. Residents are now blaming the government of failing to regular the sale of these masks.
