Increasing incidences of human - wildlife conflicts in Salama Area of Garsen

Description

Reports from the field indicate that there is increased incidences of attacks on farmers from Salama and Wema Villages by wild animals from the adjacent forests. these have destroyed properties and injured people.

The occurrences were mostly from the elephants but recently there have been attacks from leopards

These reports have been forwarded to the Kenya Wildlife Services but there have been no response from the Officers.
