Over 90 children rescued from a suspected trafficking ring in Likoni.

Kenyan Security officials together with FBI agents yesterday raided a premises register as a Madrassa and a rehabilitation Center in Likoni and found over 90 children suspected to be trafficking victims. The children were then taken to Diani police station where they were interrogated by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. The officers did identify some of the kids as being foreign nationalists leading to suspicion that the premise could have been a possible recruitment and radicalization site. Police officers continue to probe further to establish reasons behind the children being in the said premise. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the children are still being detained in an unknown area.
